John Farmer de la Torre, Founder, Chief AI Officer

John is the founder and Chief AI Officer for MMMBRAINS. He is also an award-winning journalist and accomplished communications and strategy professional. His experience ranges from international finance to wealth management, motion pictures, network television, and charitable nonprofit management. In his career, he has held leadership roles at American International Group, UBS Financial Services Wealth Management, National Geographic Film & TV, Discovery Science, the United States Census Burea, and Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri. He also worked up Hollywood’s ranks with professional roles at Troma Entertainment, Focus Features, Miramax Films, Phoenix Pictures, ANISA, and the California Film Commission.

CURRENT AFFILIATIONS

John is currently the Executive Director of the Ozarks Film Foundry, a film and new media accelerator. He serves also as a Board Member of the statewide industry group, FilmInMO.

John earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. He is pursuing a Master’s in Arts of Journalism degree from the Missouri Graduate School of Journalism.
